Land & Marine

The Biggest Conservation Numbers in Indonesian Private Development

The programme targets national park expansion from 48% to 85% of Siberut — a net increase of 152,305 hectares. Marine sanctuary coverage will expand from 12% to 65% of Mentawai administrative waters. All SEZ land has a minimum 21.2% permanent conservation zone. These commitments are independently verified, quarterly reported, and legally embedded.

Energy & Carbon

Zero Carbon by Year 5

100% renewable energy across all SEZ operations by Year 5. Carbon neutral across the full programme by Year 5. Zero waste to landfill by Year 5. The energy infrastructure — geothermal, solar, and green hydrogen — is being designed from the ground up to make these targets achievable rather than aspirational additions to a conventional development.

Reporting

Every Commitment Is Measured. Every Measurement Is Published.

Quarterly ESG dashboards will report the reef-health index, local-sourcing ratio, cultural-heritage score, and community satisfaction ratings alongside financial performance. 55% of daily trips by foot or bicycle. 85% community approval target. LEED certification, B Corp certification, and UNESCO biosphere reserve alignment pursued across the programme. Conservation without accountability is a press release. This is a contract.

Targets Built Into the Governance

Conservation commitments without enforcement mechanisms are wishes. These are obligations. Explore the governance architecture that makes them binding.
