The Programme

A Hundred-YearAmbition

Mentawai One is not a development project. It is a 100-year programme to build one of the world's great sustainable destinations — from wilderness to world-class, without sacrificing one for the other.

The Vision

Not a Resort. Not a City. Something New.

Mentawai One will combine the environmental ambition of a national park, the economic architecture of a special economic zone, and the hospitality of a world-class destination — within a single 2,600-hectare concession. No comparable project exists in Southeast Asia.

Programme Architecture

Ten Pillars. One Ecosystem.

The programme is structured across ten interdependent pillars — from conservation and indigenous stewardship to financial services, digital infrastructure, and performing arts. Each pillar reinforces the others. A reef restored increases tourism yield. A stronger economy funds deeper conservation. Nothing here is accidental.

Development Timeline

2026 to 2048 and Beyond

Infrastructure and anchor tenants from 2026. Full operational build-through to 2035. IPO between 2028 and 2029. A 100-year Legacy Trust ensures the conservation mission and community commitments survive every leadership transition.
