A DeliberatelyEngineered Ecosystem

The Padang SEZ Extension spans 400-500 hectares near Padang, West Sumatra - a precisely engineered system in which every operation reinforces every other through shared energy, shared water, co-located supply chains, and circular material flows.

Geothermal Power: Phased 450-550MW Portfolio

A phased 450-550MW geothermal generation portfolio provides the planned energy backbone for the mainland district. Development is structured around staged resource verification, drilling, and generation build-out, with an initial 100-150MW Phase 2 capacity before any full Phase 3 expansion. Proven flash steam and binary-cycle technologies form the base case, while enhanced geothermal and closed-loop systems remain later-stage options subject to validation. Waste heat from the geothermal process feeds the brine crystallisation units directly, reducing the need for separate industrial boilers.

Material Flows

Nothing Is Waste

The material logic of the mainland district is deliberate at every step. Agricultural waste from the 35-hectare greenhouse operation becomes feedstock for HVO biofuel production. CO2 captured from industrial processing is piped back to the greenhouses for crop enrichment. Water recycling closes the loop between the desalination plant, the data centre cooling towers, and agricultural irrigation. These are not aspirational goals - they are engineered dependencies that make each operation more profitable and more sustainable when operating together.

Logistical Integration

Transport as Infrastructure

The seaplane manufacturing facility is not merely an export industry - it is a transport enabler. Aircraft produced in the mainland zone connect the mainland district with Siberut Island, the Mentawai archipelago, and regional destinations. The 50-hectare logistics hub integrates ferry terminals, seaplane taxi maintenance, warehousing, and customs clearance into a single coordinated facility. Agricultural produce is distributed through this hub, reducing cold-chain losses and connecting local production to regional markets.
