Build the Foundations of a New Economy
The Mentawai SEZ will require substantial infrastructure investment across renewable energy, ports, airport, water and waste utilities, data centres, and telecommunications. BOT and BOO structures provide long-term concession income backed by the programme's 100-year mandate and the SEZ's statutory protections.

Green Hydrogen. HVO. Geothermal.
The programme's energy strategy is built on renewable generation — green hydrogen production, HVO fuel, and geothermal power — managed through the Mentawai Bay Utility Company. Infrastructure investors will operate on long-term concessions, supplying a captive SEZ market with guaranteed demand as the programme scales from 400 to 2,600 hectares.
Data Centres. Connectivity. Smart City Systems.
The Mentawai Technology Company will require infrastructure partners for data centre development, island-wide connectivity, and smart city integration. These are long-duration, high-certainty assets — operating within an SEZ that provides regulatory protection, fiscal incentives, and a growing captive user base across residents, visitors, and corporate operators.
