World-Class Acoustics. Jungle Backdrop.
The Mentawai Academy of Performing Arts will be built around a 1,200-seat main performance hall with world-class acoustic engineering, a 300-seat intimate theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre set against the island's natural jungle, recording studios and production suites, and dedicated rehearsal spaces with artist residency facilities. A campus designed to attract the world's best performers - as teachers and as students.

Performance. Composition. Production. Management.
MAPA will offer music performance and composition, theatre and dance training, traditional Mentawai music and dance preservation, music production and audio engineering, arts administration and management, and cultural exchange programmes. The curriculum will integrate traditional island performance traditions alongside contemporary global training - a conservatoire with a cultural context no institution in a city can offer.
The Annual Arts Festival. The Moho Connection.
MAPA students will contribute directly to Mentawai Bay's cultural programming - performing at Moho @ Mentawai, participating in the annual arts festival, and joining the international residency circuit that will attract global artists to the island. Traditional Mentawai music and dance preservation will be a core module across all performance disciplines - not an elective.
